Here are some things to think about:
For a smooth, mellow arpeggio, play a root in the left hand, then the fifth of that root, then a ninth chord of that fifth.
8O
I know this might not make much sense, so here is an example:
Left Hand: Eb, Bb (single notes) here is a root and its fifth
then follow with right hand single notes: F, Bb, C, D, F (Bb9, the 9th of Bb)
Another example:
Left Hand single notes: Db, Ab (again, a root and it's fifth)
Right hand single notes: Eb, Ab, Bb, C, Eb (Ab9, the 9th of Ab)
That will work with any chord, and will lay down a smooth sound. Use this for intros, bridges, talk music, etc.
Hope this helps. Remind me and I can give you some other arpeggio patterns a bit later . . . . gotta run or I'll be late to work!
Be Blessed . . .
