Greetings - I am a bass player visiting this side of the forum for the first time!
I am currently learning the song "Holy Ghost" by the Georgia Mass Choir and I was curious if any piano players are famiilar with this song. (It's from the "Tell It" CD)
The reason I ask is that the piano parts on this song are slamming! The arrangement is straight Gospel but the accents/fills that the piano is doing have an almost Ragtime feel to them. I'll confess that I'm not usually as attuned to the piano (as opposed to the organ) in Gospel music but the piano work on this track is something very special.
Has anyone here heard/played this song?
