What brand of cymbals do most gospel drummers preffer?

I like sabian over zildjian but what do you guys think?

I love Zildjian alot!!!!  But Im not saying I prefer one over the other because Sabian also has some great products as well..

yo i play with everything...My preference is anything that sounds good.  On my kit i got some sabians, zildjians, paistes, UFIP, Istanbul and Staggs!

sabian. i like zildren but i think sabian sound better. o an they a lil cheaper too. lol. my man at gc just hooked me up wit 17 an 16 inch studoi 4 $250.

I gotta go with Sabians. The sound you get for the price you pay can't be beat! Kind of like Ibanez basses (for the drummers who most likely play bass)

...it's sad how we set the bar so low in the chu'ch realm. (Camber, CB700, anything that looks like a cymbal but sounds like trash can lids.) :-\

...I think that Sabian's B8 and B8 Pro's are the elite church cymbal.  Anything after that is over the budget.  The CB 700 or 200 or 1000's are the regular line. ;D


Sidenote:  If Pastor's and M.O.M's were really studying the Word of God and analyzing it, all drummers across the board would have great sounding cymbals in church.  I've yet to read where it says "Praise him with trash can lid sounding cymbals." :-\

Psalm 150.5 - "Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals." 

N.I.V. - praise him with the clash of cymbals,
           praise him with resounding cymbals

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thats too funny..............i personally like A customs.  They project loud enough for me (cuz most of the time churches aren't miked) and they sound good..............

BTW:  I grew up playin a CB700 20" ride every week in church plus 16" & 18" Amir Zildjians....They got me through though lol!!!!!
