How do you play Bb-F-Ab / Bb-Db-F?
« on: March 11, 2004, 06:36:57 PM »
I don't get it.  What do you play in the bass hand?  Do you play Bb-F-Ab on the left hand and Bb-Db-F on the right?  It doesn't sound right.  Thank you my brothers and sister.  God Bless.

Welcome dubeats to the Learngospelmusic.com website.

You play it exactly like you said.  Since music is so relative, it may sound good to someone, but it doesn't sound good to you.  You just have to find the sound you are looking for.

Yes, that's exactly how you play it. If it doesn't sound right to you, try inverting the chord.
