Yo, list what drumsticks y'all use and why......

right now, I use vic firth dave weckl series 5a nylons, vic firth mallets, and zildjian 5b's wood tip (sometimes).  the feel and size of 5a's are just right for me.  I like vic firth because they seem the most durable for the money.  I may try vaters.  I've tried zildjians and they don't seem to be any good.  I've broken every pair I've bought this year.  I haven't tried promarks....tell me what y'all think of them all.

Call da size ....my Current sticks rite now are promark Willie Gator Watson i met him at a concert and he gave me like 3 pairs of his brand sticks....those  stcks are doin me justiCe rite bot now

What Up Mr. White... I use Vader Fatback 3A's. I pay $5.00 a pair for them. I like them because they are long and won't break. I use LP brushes
the plastic ones, they don't bend.I'm gonna test the new Eric Moore Promark stick when come out. Sometimes I buy the little cheap sticks for the local mom & pop store for $3.21 a pair.

I use Vic Firth's Steve Smith Signature model, Vic Firth's Buddy Rich Signature Model.  Out of the two, the Steve Smith Signature gets the nod when it comes to the quantity that's in my stick bag.  

Regarding mallets, I have a pair of Mike Balter marimba mallets and Vic Firth's Becken mallets.  I also have a pair of Vic Firth's Rutes (original size) as well as a pair of Pro-Mark's Hot Rods (original size).  

Why do I use them?  I use them because they feel good to my hands and they produce the desired tone and response on my cymbals and drums.

 Marco Manniman or somethimg like that and the vic sd9 or sd4 all of them

I use Vater 8A and Fatback 3A..for me.. Vater sticks last longer, plus the balance of the stick work best for me.

I've tried Vic Firths, Pro-Marks, Regal tips..but once I started using Vater I was hooked.

Basically any 5A w/nylon tip sticks work for me.

After 14 years of vic firth addiction(j.dejohnette,d.weckl,extreme 5a)i finally discovered the TRUTH! Vater are the most consistent sticks around! I Play the teardrop model,the acorn and the session...i still warm up with either the dave weckl model or the extreme 5a's(preferably).The thing i like most about the vaters is that the tip doesn't wear out after the first gig...

I use a variety of sticks.  For example, I use Vic Firths HD4's one of the best feeling sticks around.  There are times I use Pro Marks 5A (they last you a long time and I love the feel).  At other times I use the Vaters philly style (lLil John Roberts) or recording sticks.  I also like the Ziljian sticks.  It all depends how I am feeling for that particular day.  Stay Blessed, Nate J.

I use Pro-Mark 721 Marco Minneman sticks. And if I can't get those I'll use the Vater Recording stick.
