Does it have two switches on the upper right?

Hold the left switch for about 10 seconds.  then turn on the right switch.  the right switch will lock into the on position, and the left switch will return to where it was.  Wait a few seconds.  If no sound, make sure you have one of the preset keys pushed, and your drawbars pulled out.

Then get it!!!!  :D  :D  :D

no prob.  There are some funny stories of some very accomplished organists and their very 1st experiences with the organ because of this very reason.

One thing you want to avoid, is after the organ is on, don't push in the left switch again.  It's kind of like trying to start a car when it's already started.  Also, when you turn it off, don't turn it back on right away.  These Hammonds are not purely electrical, like your synths, they are electro/mechanical, there are moving parts in there like a motor.

Make sure that people that play your or your churches organ understand this.

I like the double switch because it keeps people off of it that shouldn't be on it.

Yea i know.  we used to have a b-3000 and everybody and they mama could just go up and turn it on and start playin.  Now we have a good ol tonewheel and most people dont know how to turn it off, let alone turn it on

B-3000?  What did ya'll think of that organ-I'm thinking not very much because you got rid of it and went vintage.

I played the old XB3-you know how on a Hammond you can do fast repeated notes?  You couldn't do it on this!  I don't know if it was the software or the key assembly, but the sound couldn't keep up with the keys.
