need alittle help
« on: January 31, 2005, 07:17:45 PM »
I've been playing keypoard for a while mostly by air. But i would love to get better. my problem is i know the the basic chords like c, d , f, g,  but usually end up playing these chords in the right hand and the first note of the chord in the left hand. does anyone have any tips to help me imporve.  :( I would love to be able to help my youth pastor out even if it's just on youth sunday, considering  he playes every sunday. Thank you in advance and god bless.

Inversions can change the way the chord is played with the bass

In C...

C / C E G
E / E G C
G / G C E

When you play these 3 chords, u goin to hear a big difference on how that chord is played...

I did some basic progressions...You may have been familiar with them...but noticed that i didn't use the first note of the chord that I was playing on the right hand...Hope that helps :D
