Christmas Songs
« on: December 16, 2004, 11:58:10 PM »
Hello,

I was wondering if anybody knew of some great Christmas songs I could teach my choir.  Right now my mind is kind of stump and I can't really think of any but Silent Night.  So if you have any in mind please let me know.  THANKS IN ADVANCE :D

Jesus, Oh What a wonderful Child  (we did it without the verse and vamped the words "Jesus, Jesus... Jesus, Jesus, Oh, Oh")

Sweet Little Jesus Boy
Little Drummer Boy (Donald Lawrence Version)
Yolanda Adam's - Born This Day..

Amen!

More Than a Holiday - Hezekiah Walker and the LFC

Go Tell it on the Mountain

O come let us adore Him..  (sing a portion acappela with harmony, slow and soulfully)

O Come All Ye Faithful - (Twinkie Clark version on Real Meaning of Christmas)

Have you thought of trying "O Holy Night"? That or "Mary Did You Know" by Mark Lowery. They are both good Christmas Songs.
Merry Christmas!
