@ Long Fingers - Thanks for sharing the list.

Choosing the right funeral songs is a task. It also depends on what kind of songs the person who has passed away liked. But one should have a  list of appropriate funeral songs.  I came across http://www.caring.com/search?query=funeral+songs for some nice funeral songs.

It's been a while since anyone added any songs to this thread.. thought I'd add one or two to the list..

Everybody Will Be Happy Over There (So Glad, I'm So Glad) - Hymnal (checkout Bishop Leonard Scott's Version)

The Finishing Line  - The Angelic Gospel Singers

If you can't help me – please don't stop me
Move out of my way – Don't try to block me
I've got a race to run – and I'm running by faith
At the finishing line – I'll see God's face

Verse:

I've been running for Jesus a long time
Running both night and day
A few more mountains and hills to climb
And, I'll be waiting at the finishing line

 He'll Hold to my Hand
Never Grow Old
The Old Rugged Cross
I'd Rather Have Jesus
When the Roll is Called up Yonder
Farther Along
It is Well With My Soul
