Hey Family I need some direction I want to use my laptop as a sound module, but I need some nice bass patches. What software can I get to give me some nice sounds that I can use a controller with?

hmmmm.....plenty of programs..any native instruments programs (FM7)
Reason...incase of sequencing live...good for that...i gve u more programs lata..

yes Sequencing live mainly for perc. track to play with and bass that I will use a controller for. But mainly some nice bass sounds to play live.

I have the korg legecy set (Wavestation, Polysix, MS-20, Legacy Cell(Mixure of the 3 boards)) and they have some nice bass sounds but u goin to need a sequencing program....I use SONAR 4 for that...I trying to remember the other program...i think it's called Spectrasonics Trilogy...3.1 gigabytes of nothin but bass sounds...

here's the requiements...
512 MB RAM, 3.1 GB free hard disc space
MAC: OS 9 or higher, 250 mHz G3 or
better CPU, MAS, RTAS or VST 2.0 host
PC: Windows 98 or higher, 300 mHz Pentium or
better CPU, sound card, VST 2.0 host
CPU load: VERY LOW
Operates as a virtual instrument software plug-in in all major hosts like Logic 5, Digital Performer, Pro Tools Mac Free/LE/TDM/HD, Cubase (VST-Mac/PC & SX Windows only), Nuendo, Fruity Loops, Acid Pro 4.0 and other VST hosts.
*also works in Sonar with a VST wrapper (not included)
