We may not like this, but sometimes what we are going through is a trial or a tribulation . . . because we are doing what is right before the LORD and the enemy wants to stop us.
And sometimes we are going through things because of wrong things that we did. In those instances, trouble motivates us to do what is right.
We have to learn to be honest with ourselves, and separate the one from the other . . . . trouble that comes from doing right, and trouble that comes from doing wrong.
I beleive it is in the Book of Jeremiah, where the Bible says that our own ways will correct us. Israel wanted something that they knew was wrong . . . and GOD's people pleaded and pleaded with them to get right. Finally, GOD spoke through Jeremiah and said "Your judgement will be that you will get what you asked for."
So not all "breaking" is GOD.
