NEED SOME CLARIFICATION
« on: February 22, 2005, 04:51:19 PM »
In the midst of all I'm going through right now, a friend sent me a text message on my cell phone that said:

IN ORDER TO BE MADE BY GOD IS TO BE BROKEN!

What does that mean????

I think your friend is telling you that in order for you te be a true saint your world must be torn apart or purged.  Things happen for a reason, God allows those things to happen to bring us to a place where we seek his face.  We must submit to HIS will and not our own.  That includes who He chooses for our wife/husband.  When you break something we just put it back together the way it was... God makes it better.  Possibly your life is falling appart because you are refusing to yeild to what HE is trying to do in your life.

Please don't take what I said the wrong way.....

When you fall down there is usually someone there to pick you up and dust you off.  As well as the next time you fall, and the next time, and the next time.....

Eventually someone will care enough to stop you and cause you to take a look around to find out why you keep falling.

Maybe what your friend is saying to you is related to Jeremiah 18: 1 thru 6.  Maybe it is a fashioning and a making process that you are going thru.

From an earthly point of view; If the clay is marred in the hands of the potter, He can do one of 2 things, He can destroy it and cast it away OR he can again remold and fashion it to his purpose. If this is the case, then thank God for not casting you away but He's still working on you to make you what you are to become! Peace.

It simply means that God has to break you down from what you are now in order to build you up into what He wants you to be.  Everyone goes through a point when nothing seems to go right, which is the valley experience.  God puts you there so that your complete focus will be on Him.  Once you surrender everything to Him, then he will start to build you into the image that he wants for you.

In simple words... BROTHA YOU ARE IN THE POTTER'S HANDS.

Some times in life the potter has to mold and shape us and when that clay is stubborn and wants thing his/her way because they think they know themselves better than God, God has to put you back through the fire (get it fire, hardship) to bring you out as pure gold. you just being refined brotha... hold on in there.

To be broken
« Reply #6 on: February 23, 2005, 12:22:40 PM »
I totally agree with that text message. First of all if you want to affective in the body of Christ you must go through some things which is called the baptism of fire(Trials & Tribulations) sent by God to make you affective. In Psalms 51:17 "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart-These, O God, You will not despise. When I think of broken I think of being humbled by circumstances released by God to make you affective as a christian or a leader in your ordained ministry. Being humble means to be broken. A Prideful spirit means your lifted up by your own abililty to do whatever and God get's no credit. Being humbled is the breaking of pride by God through trials and tribulations. If you want to be humble let God break you down of all sorts of pride so that he can get all the Glory & Honor and he will anoit you with a greater anoniting. Let God break you until you are ity bity pieces ready to be used by God. Praise God and Worship The Lord in Spirit and in Truth.

Thank Jesus

I Thank Jesus for Saints like you all.  We have to keep praying for this Brother as well as each other because the enemy is trying to brake us down.  To discourge us, To give up on Jesus.  Look around us and see, if we ever needed the Lord before, we need him now.  I keep his Love down in my heart as well as his word.  For this is what we need to fight the good fight.  Prophet-Minsrel the Lord is with you.  Keep spreading the Word.

We may not like this, but sometimes what we are going through is a trial or a tribulation . . . because we are doing what is right before the LORD and the enemy wants to stop us.

And sometimes we are going through things because of wrong things that we did. In those instances, trouble motivates us to do what is right.

We have to learn to be honest with ourselves, and separate the one from the other . . . . trouble that comes from doing right, and trouble that comes from doing wrong.

I beleive it is in the Book of Jeremiah, where the Bible says that our own ways will correct us. Israel wanted something that they knew was wrong . . . and GOD's people pleaded and pleaded with them to get right. Finally, GOD spoke through Jeremiah and said "Your judgement will be that you will get what you asked for."

So not all "breaking" is GOD.

That's a very good point you brought out. Because some of the trials we go through is created due a bad seed we sowed and now we reaping a bad seed we sowed through a trial. The best thing is that God will come in and make us a better person(if we allow Him) through the good and the bad. So great observation my brother.

Stay Blessed. :D

God Is Good
« Reply #12 on: February 28, 2005, 04:10:26 PM »
First I like to say that God is good,  I have been going through some things in my body since yesterday when I got up.  Was having chest discomfort, but I went to church anyways.  I think it all started when I had a talk with the Lord about my lifes direction.  That is when the enemy attacked my body.  Again this is a test of my faith a going through thing.  God Is Good All The Time.  Pray for me.  Now for Prophet-Minstrel, thanks for the reply God bless you.  I attend St. Paul Apostlic Temple, 17400 Manderson Det, 48203 where the door are always opened.

wow...what great explanations.  Consequently, I have been consistently reading chapter 14 of 'The Purpose Driven Life' (When God seems distant), and it seems to be my life story summarized into a few pages.

Anyone else who is going through even HALF this much hell and high water and feel like God has abandoned or given up on you, PLEASE READ IT!  IT HELPS TREMENDOUSLY!  TRUST ME!

Thanks guys.
