Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of any resources/vids/youtube clips for playing aux/secondary keys?

Most of the gospel piano clips/resources I've come across are about playing lead keys. But I'm looking for some info about playing aux/secondary keys and laying down stuff like pads or adding little extras into a song to fill in spaces. Discussing how to voice a string pad for example, or ways to fill in spaces in songs to complement what the lead keys are doing.

If you got to this site,   http://earnestandroline.com/Music/midi.htm

their are several files that contain multiple tracks that include brass, organ, piano, pads, drums, etc. You will have to download the free software "vanbasco." This software displays a virtual piano and gives the user the ability to mute and/or solo tracks.

Ahh cool. Thanks. I'll check the midi's out!

Also looking for any resources that talk about general principles when playing secondary keys (e.g. "Don't play this because of XYZ...instead, play this" type of stuff)
