Your ears and your listening audience are factors that determine if tritone sounds good or not. I tend to look at tritones as dominate chords. Dominate chords are usually used as a means to get to some other chord. (i.e. G7 -->CMaj7) I would suggest you look at jazz standards. Every jazz standard I have played showed various uses of tritones/ dominate chords. For instance, "misty" which is in Eb, uses an Eb7 (Eb7 uses the tritone G and Db) to get to the Abmaj7. It also uses the Db7 ( Db uses the tritone F and B) to get to the Ebmaj7. This is only one use of tritones.
Another way to use tritones is to implement substitutions. You can change any major chord into a a dominate chord. Just make sure it sounds good to your ears and it fits your particular chord progression.
In regards to what i would play based on your list:
The first chord you have is a C7. Since the important notes of the chord are covered, I would simply play some inversion of a "A triad" to enhance the chord and probably use it to transition to some type of F chord. The C7 would then become a C13b9
