Pedalling is VERY important in gospel organ. You need to start training your feet where the spacing is on the organ so it comes naturally. You don't want to look down at your feet while playing.
Start by going back and forth between low C and G so that you can tap them both back and forth on demand without looking. Then, practice working up scales, both regularly and chromatically. You need to learn how to do the heel-toe-heel-toe technique.
