maybe mayweather will agree to the fight now that

I think Manny taking a nap on pay-per-view would be more motivation.  lol

Doesn't matter to me.  I'll always think of Floyd as a chicken now anyway.  If you'll only take a fight after you KNOW you'll win, what good is a perfect record?

Ali NEVER ducked an opponent.  He didn't just talk big.  He was willing to fight anybody and honestly believed he'd win.

I completely agree bro. Although Manny took that nap, I think all the Manny haters need to realize something.

Manny got in the ring 4 times with somebody that he knew full well could beat him in any given fight. That's heart. And, it shows how he would rather gain his respect by fighting the most worthy opponents. Imagine Floyd doing that... yeah right.

Also it seemed like all the people that were glad to see him get knocked out over looked the worst part of everything. The fact that the entire boxing community got robbed of what may have been the fight of the last 2 decades. Manny vs Floyd

You know Floyd destroyed Marquez...the same guy that beat Pac Man.  I'm not taking up for Mayweather, but not get careless and say he only fights bums.

I'll believe it when the actual fight happens.

It won't mean the same as if they had fought 5 years ago should Floyd win.  It would mean everything Pacman should he win.

It's certainly going to be a big payday for all involved.  I wish they had fought long before this though...Assuming the fight actually happens.

Quote
At long last, pound-for-pound greats Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will fight.

Yes, the fight that looms as one of the most anticipated in boxing history is finally on.

For more than five years sports fans have clamored for a summit meeting between the two best fighters in the world and after various failed negotiations -- and a protracted and difficult effort to make the fight in recent months -- they will get it on May 2 to unify their welterweight world titles at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

No Pac-Man, beat. his. tail.

They waited too long for me to even think about spending money on the fight.  Mayweather should win.
