BALTIMORE REHEARSALS OR JAM SESSIONS
« on: December 01, 2004, 10:38:02 AM »
hello all...i've been playing for my church for close to two years now.  Problem:  when introduced to songs, i play them the way they sound coming from the members in my church.  Second part:  when i hear those songs again at other churches, the songs sound totally different.  i know i need to start buying cds and become the one introducing the songs in my church.  that's the beginning, but now i'm at a point that i want to expose myself to different styles and interpretations of Gospel music.  Ultimately, i simply want to know if there are any open rehearsals or jam sessions in Baltimore that won't mind having an amateur sistah sit in on...not to play, but to listen.

Peace and Blessings

Aisha
