I played on the JV-80 which is a 61 key version of the JV-90 which has 76 semi-weighted keys.
It came out around the early to mid '90s.

As far as the sound, it had a lot of really nice sounds plus hands on editing using sliders for quick setting.
It also has the capacity for upgrades using expansion cards for more sounds.

The down side to it is that it is an older model that came out prior to the XP series, which also has been discontinued.

All in all, I'd buy it if someone in the area was selling it for $200.  Just remember that it's not really a workstation, but mainly used for performance.

                            God bless you,  BroAllan

Yeah i know its not a workstation but thats all fine with me. For a workstation im lookin into the Mo6/8! See I play in a semi-pro quartet group from Clinton, NC and right now I'm playin the keys (piano). I heard its a great performance board...for all i'd need with it is the piano, elec piano, strings, and horn sounds! Thanks for all the replies so far though!

If that's what your looking to use it for, I believe you'll be happy with it.  :)
