if you are reffereiong to the hear and play gospel keys book i purchased the book the video and the software for the pc i find that the first bideo is very basic so you might want to buy the other video's for more complicated bass runs and stuff, but the book is a good tool as far as being able to train yourself in the language of music as well as the fingereing and different scales and things of that nature. it really helped me but you gotta put in time with it it's best to do it near a piano or keyboard as well cause unless you have perfect pitch and you know all the notes it doesn't really do much for your ear.

Bro Griggs is good . . . he is SO GIFTED and ANOINTED, and I have learned so much from his site that I am ordering the videos, too. For those who have not visited his site, treat yourself to a look.  And not only are his prices good . . . they are GREAT.

Be Blessed . . . .

Oh, it is good.  Minister Griggs opened up my eyes to the gospel licks and tricks that are used in lot's of gospel songs.  I bought the book first and completed it from cover to cover, then I bought the video and completed it.  Now my son has mastered the Ab groove.

The thing to do is to be able to play the groove in all keys.  I am still working on that.

Keep on keepin' on

I have all 3 videos and the book. I bought the 1st video and I learned a lot from it. I hadn't tried to play the piano since childhood and I wanted to play again. The first video helped me out so much that I bought the two videos in the 300 series along with the workbook. In my opinion the workbook is more helpful than anything, but it depends on your level of playing. I hadn't played in 35 years so I had to start all over from the beginning. I found the book to be very easy to understand, and the videos are shot at an angle where you can see exactly what he's doing. The series was well worth the money. The only thing that I didn't like was the online help sessions. In the room everyone seemed to already know each other and outsiders were not welcomed. (my perception)

Peace
