Blessing to everyone. before I posted this question I did an advanced search. I just got this job 6 weeks ago, I have a church choir with six people and they non of them are lead singers and they are not really choir singers.
I have tried so hard to teach them the most easy hymns with two part s sp and alto, but they just can quite catch on. We practrice twice a week sometimes and on most Sundays they forget the words and they sing very low where it is very hard to hear them. Maybe someone can suggest few songs that have very lttle words and can be sung in unison. It would help very much if if someone could supply me with the chords and a midi.
The church is having it's 25th ann. this Sunday and they will have over 100 guest and they will have to sing. I have a teacher and she has told me that if is not enough of them to have a choir and that they will embasses me and the church.
I am very hurt that she would make that comment Becasue with God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBE!!! I am not going to give up on them.
I think I will also start to look for a new music teacher I am in the state of California (Bay area Oakland, SF area) maybe someone can recommend music teachers. I hope someone can help me!!!
