"The Presence of the Lord" by Byron Cage
Key of Db

The
F / F-Ab-Db Presence of the

Db / F-Ab-Db here, I

Gb / Gb-Bb-Eb atmos-
Ab / F-Ab-Db phere, the
B / Gb-B-Eb presence of the

Eb / G-Bb-Db-F -ere the
B / Gb-B-Eb presence of the

(repeat 3 x) 2nd time spirit, 3rd time power

Speed up part:

/ Ab, Bb
B-A / Eb-Gb-Ab-B
Db-Bb / Db-E-Gb-Bb
B-A / Eb-Gb-Ab-B
Db-B / F-Ab-Db
(repeat 4x) then play the intro chords at this speed

The song goes up to D, then to Eb. Here is everybody blow the trumpet part in Eb:

Eb / G-Bb-Eb
F / Ab-C-F
Gb / A-C-F#
G / Bb-Eb-G Every
Ab / C-Eb-Ab body blow the trumpet and
F / Bb-D-F (2x) sound the a-
G / Bb-Eb-G larm
Ab / C-Eb-Ab
G / Bb-Eb-G
F / Bb-D-F
G / Bb-Eb-G Because the
Ab / C-Eb-Ab Lord is in His temple let
A / A-C-F (2x) everybody

F / B-Eb-F-Ab the
Bb / Bb-Eb-G Lor-
Bb / Ab-Bb-Eb ord is
Eb / G-Bb-Eb here
(transpose the speed up part chords to this key and play)

The CD jumps to F and then they do something a little different. Here ya go: *Play these chords in "hit" form (yall understand that?)

F-Eb / A-C-D-F   A blessing from the Lord is here
F-Eb / A-C-D-F    A blessing
Eb-Eb / G-Bb-Eb  from the Lord
Bb-Bb / F-Ab-D   is here
F-F / A-D (filler)
F-Eb / G-C (filler) I
F-Eb / A-C-D-F  feel it in the atmosphere
F-Eb / A-C-D-F  A blessing

Bb / Ab-D-F  Lord is
F-Eb / A-C-F here
/ C,D
Eb-Db / G-Bb-C-Eb
F-D / F-Ab-Bb-D

Transpose the "blow the trumpet" part from Eb to F. The last few chords in this part is a little tricky so here it is:

A / Db-E-A praise
Db / Db-E-A Him
D / D-F-A now
G / Db-F-G-Bb the
C / C-F-A Lor-
C / D-F-Bb -ord
Bb /  *  the   *hold previous chord
A / C-F-A  Lor-
Bb / D-F-Bb -ord
G /  *  the   *hold previous chord
C / C-F-A
C / E-Bb-Eb  is
F-Eb / A-C-F  here

Here is the next part:

low F (2x) / I
high F (2x) / can
Eb (2x) / Ab-D-F feel
C (2X) / A-C-Eb-F the
low F (2x) / presence
high F (2x) / of the
Eb (2x) / Ab-D-F Lord
C (2X) / A-C-Eb-F and
low F (2x) / I'm
high F (2x) / going to
Eb (2x) / Ab-D-F get
C (2X) / A-C-Eb-F my
low F (2x) / bless-
high F (2x) / ing
Eb / G-Bb-Eb right
F / A-C-F now

Do that 2x then go back to the regular format which is:

F-Eb / A-C-F
/ C,D
Eb-Db / G-Bb-C-Eb
F-D / F-Ab-Bb-D
Eb-Db / G-Bb-C-Eb
F-Eb / A-C-F

The CD goes up to Gb, then to G, then back to F. Here is the next part:

F-F (6x) /
Bb-Bb /
Ab-Ab /
F-F (6x) /
Bb-Ab / Eb-Ab-C-Eb
Ab-Gb / Db-Gb-Bb-Db
(do this 3X)

4th time play it this way
F-F (6x) /
Bb-Bb /
Ab-Ab /
*F-F / B,C,Eb (play notes in triplet form) *Play both parts 6x
C-Bb / E-Ab-Bb-Eb

Then go into regular format and play through. The CD jumps to G, then to A, then ends in Bb. I didn't type out every single part so yall can have some practice at transposing chords into different keys. I hope this helps someone out. One!!!

Only Daryl can archive songs on this site. He probably will not get to it soon because he and his wife just welcomed a new baby into their family and home. However, I will post these chords onto my site.

Thanks for your contribution.

"They" aren't the moderators, "they" include those of us who use this board and others and post songs that we know how to play or just to help others out with whatever request. Whether it's the whole song or not, or if it sounds like the recording or not, whatever help was given (by posting the chords) should be appreciated. Even with partial chords, you have majority of how the song is played and could go from there to figure out the rest of the chords.

Transpose the "blow the trumpet" part from Eb to F. The last few chords in this part is a little tricky so here it is:
