Nothing Else Really Matters
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Mark 8:36 You can have the fancy car; you have the nice house; you can have the great marriage; you can have the wonderful children; you can have the handsome husband; you can have the beautiful wife; you can have the great job; you can have the wonderful in-laws; you can have lots of money in the bank; you can have great investments; you can have a great church to attend; you can have all these things and more; you could have it all, however, if you do not have Jesus then you really do not have anything. Without Jesus, nothing else really matters.
Jesus makes the difference in everything. Without Him, you cannot maintain the things that you have. In fact, you cannot even save your own soul without Him. You cannot keep the car, the marriage, or the job without Him. That is why you need Him every single day of your life. The Word of Lord says that if I first seek the Kingdom of God then all these other things will be added or given to me (Matthew 6:33).
Therefore, you need Jesus in your life. Start today seeking Him. I guarantee that your life will never be the same.
Focus for Today: Jesus makes the difference in everything.Prayer Dear Lord, I praise you and give you glory this day for who you are and for what you have done. Lord, I seek you and only you today for I know that you will take care of me and that you will supply all my needs. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
