James Fortune track
« on: April 20, 2006, 12:05:23 PM »
I was given this CD the other day and I must say I enjoyed the majority of it.  However, what is up with the "detuned" piano on track one.  I mean, the song is in F# but it sounds really bad when you try to play the song yourself because their piano is very off.  Maybe it's just me over reacting but what it the purpose of recording a song with the tuner adjusted?

I think that it's something to do with the recording, because every now and then on various CD projects, you will find that a song is slightly out of tune, or between two half-step notes. I have found this on several occasions.

BTW I like James Fortune's CD, too.
