there's a rendition of "Ezekiel Saw The Wheel" out there that I've heard choirs rock out.

Yes!! I have done this song with the high school choir I direct, and they ROCKED it!! Also "Ride on King Jesus", and "Go Down Moses" are two other a cappella songs we have done.

If their voices sound as good as I'm assuming, then harmonizing His eye is on the Sparrow, or Take courage my Soul (encourage my soul to some) would be nice with them. Take courage my soul sounds nice acapella, but for his eye is on the sparrow, you will have to get creative. I can imagine soprano, alto, and tenor parts, and the other two doing scat-libs (scats and ad-libs). Teens are creative (I would know, I am one) so ya'll just put ya'll heads together and tweak the songs.

That's cool Scales. Also there's You'd betta Mind, I AM delievered,
I'm not finished playing

My friends bible college just did a rendition of Jesus Loves me that was done first by Generation J ( I think) and it was phenomenal.  If you go to Calvarytabindy.org and look under their music go to the part that talks about last years music fest you may be able to see them perform it live.  It is a really fun song not only to sing but also to listen to.  I think your young people would like it a lot.

It depends on your range of your singers...

If they can handle 3 part harmony then you could possibly sing King Jesus is a Listen' When You Pray

"Ride on King Jesus" is a real good one and easy too.  John Kee's "Lily in the Valley" is cool.  Add a baratone if you have one.  Have fun with it.
Now unto him who is able...

What about Olanda Draper's My Soul Doth Magnify the Lord. It's not choral but its acapella and tight... Ezekial saw the wheel is a classic.
