I tried them on my DW's and I think that they are too heavy for my drums in particular. I haven't tried them on my Catalina Birch's yet though.

I am really wanting to switch out my Hydraulics..and I was just going to go with G2's , but the EC2's are now in my head. So I take it you would recommend them Moe?

God Bless.

I currently have them and I dont know what it is about them but they simply won't stay in tune for anything. I've never had this problem with any other heads but I decided to give the ec2's a try and man after like 15 minutes they're completely outta tune, never fails. I have no idea what the problem is but these simply will not stay tuned. When they're tuned right they sound pretty good but man I'm bout to give up on em cuz they simply get un-tuned, if thats even a word, so fast from my experience with em :-\

Yea man I have one on my Pearl 5 by 14 snare. They make you want to make love to your drums. Other than that I'd have to recomend the REMO clear pinstrip for your toms, yet another seductive sound.

if those heads are between g2's and hydro not bad. but if i had a maple or a birch kit i think u should go no thicker than a g2.yea i have a tama rockstar and i have hydro's on it.i was going to git g2's and let the drum resonate more.question are remo emperor's the equivilant to g2's help me out!

Naw doc... Emporers are not in the same league as G2s.

Go G2 Coated. That will give you warmth and resonance and that little bit of sound control without choking.
