Musiq16, That's exactly what I need. Playing the melody or the words with the right hand & chords with the left. I can do that on a couple of songs so that's good for me.

This awesome musician I know, he had broken his wrist and played all this great stuff with his arm and hand all in a cast. He was playing all this great stuff in Eb, kind of pounding only on the black keys- which makes a pentatonic minor scale, but he was sort of laying his wrist on it, and it was just amazing to me. I later found out if you add the tritone (A natural) it sounds even better...but I thought that might be an idea to try.

Ivorygirl, Thanks for the info. I have done a few things like that, but lack the skills to really do a lot with it on my own. I'm learning more daily so maybe I'll be able to incorporate that more soon. It's encouraging to know that he could play a lot like that. Thanks

C4- do you know "Open our Eyes"? that's a pretty song we do with just a male vocalist but we have the choir do a little harmony part for a few bars. All the piano chords are like Cmajor, Aminor, Eminor, all "white key" triads. I have a chord chart and a tape- don't know how to do MIDI though.
