to answer you question I think he means the preset key at the begining of both he bottom and top keyboards.

Those are called the preset keys. The First note (the black C) is the cancel key it silents that perticular keyboard from making any sounds. And the other 11 keys are preset's. They are drawbar settings that are allready filtered/made. You can change them "INSIDE" the organ but most organ owners keep them the same.

If you open up the back of the organ, there should be a bag of screws and a chart.  You can study the chart-but I wouldn't mess with it unless you really know what you're doing.

I can't think of a reason why you would want to change those anyway because if you have a B3 or C3 style organ, you've got four different ways to set up the manuals for any drawbar position that you want.

I would suggest at the least, if you HAVE to mess with the factory set up, draw a chart for what it looks like before you mess with it so that you can return it to the way it was.
Thanks for letting me hang with you guys!

I agree.  I thought I was "smart enough" to mess with the presets when I tried to install a bass module on the lower manual.  Badddd Move!!! I called a pro instead ... LOL

very cool!  I couldn't remember the name of the organist that used that, but I was reminded that Groove Holmes did use that.  That IS a cool sound.
