OK OK OK I GET THE POINT THE TRANSPOSING BUTTON ISNOT GOOD!! LOL

BUT IT CAN COME IN HELPFULLY WHEN YOUR LISTENING TO A CD TRYING TO LEARN A SONG THATS IN A KEY YOU CANT PLAY IN,

YOU CAN LEARN THE SONG IN KEYS YOUR GOOD IN BY FIGURING  OUT THE PROGRESSIONS

Or you can take a week or two to learn to play in that key and not be dependent on it for years.  :)

I think the whole transpose button thing is a no go. That's just what I'm feeling.

Just walk away.

I have rededicated myself to learning all keys.

PS. Is that the right answer?

That happened to me before and I was the only one playing at that service and I had to play the piano and I was pitiful cuz all I played in was Eb that is when I got a wake-up call cuz it was embarrassing

and that's why they call you hardocore Eb? That's funny, Eb is pretty difficult to play in compared to like C and G and F.

Yeah Tranpose button is no good if you want to advance in your skill. Honestly, there is no way out in learning keys. It takes patience to learn scales and chords but you'll be all smiles when somebody sings in a key that you took time to learn. That's the pay off.
My advice is...stay away from the keys that you can play well in and play more in those that you really can't play well in. As somebody once said...No pain, No gain.

So you learn a song in a key you are familiar in......but, it's still the wrong key, because you are playing the wrong keyson the instrumetn.

Learning things wrong way can only bring about a bad habit called slouthfulness.

i have a pastor friend who takes me to play with him in a band! saturday he brought a keyboard from his church, because we didnt have an organ where we were going, so after the event, someone forgot to put the keyboard back in the vhehicle we were in, and as a result, his musician was totally unaware of the happenings and had to play the hammond that sunday morning,.............well the pastor didnt think it was a big deal, because he thought his musician was accomplished.......needless to say, he found out by the end of the morning, he wasnt.............lol

pastor said, the whole church struggled!!!!!!!!!lol

let this be a lesson to all those who love that ol' transpose buttons!!!!!lol
gieres.....

god is greatly to be praised!!!!!!!!!
