A question about major scales practice
« on: November 09, 2014, 07:22:12 AM »
I've decided to learn in the next few months all my major scales starting from zero with the circle of 4th ( starting from c, to f, and so fourth).  By learn I mean being able to name every single note and its number related to the number system, like everyone should. Any advice on how to practice them? Should I do one scale a day? per week?

Just looking for something to make it less boring !

Everything is welcome here, thank you.

i would do one scale per week, but hitting it up multiple times a day to help lock it in. In conjunction with doing your daily scale excercises, maybe try to include one song per week in that corresponding key.
