Yes, Doc, it does. They are not as numerous as the Motif, nor(in my opinion)as good. I don't recall the button that you push, but you then use the pads to call up the rhythms. Each rhythm set had eight rhythms that were accessed by the upper eight pads. The volume of the rhythm was determined by how hard you tapped the pad to turn it on. Of course, you could put your own rhythms in and have the pads access them.
You could go into rhythms and choose the set that you wanted to work with. The button to access rhythms was just next to the voices button, just as on the yamaha xs. The buttons are just not called voices and performances as I recall.
