Ok, I got a chance to listen to the parts of the video you mentioned, and CS was right about that technique. I have it explained a little in another post, but here is what it's called:
Alternate minor 1 and minor 2 chords
Key Eb
Db-Gb-Bb or Eb-Gb-Bb (start high on keyboard, go all the way down, go all the way back up)
C-F-Ab
Bb-Eb-Gb
Ab-C-F
Gb-Bb-Eb
F-Ab-C
(repeat)
Alternate major 1 and minor 2 chords
Key Eb
Eb-G-Bb (start high on keyboard, go all the way down, go all the way back up)
C-F-Ab
Bb-Eb-G
Ab-C-F
G-Bb-Eb
F-Ab-C
(repeat)
I use this a lot in congregational songs and shouting music. Depending on what kind of song it is, you can use either option to give you some filler chords while running a standard shout pattern.
