A few weeks ago I challenged one of my PianoClubhouse teachers (C-Dub) to video record 100 cover songs within 24 hours.
As simple and cut & dry as that may sound, it was quite a feat. It took him a few hours just to compile the list, they ALL had to be QUALITY song selections......none of that "Mary had a little lamb" or "Chopsticks"......LOL. And to make the time constraint even that more restricting, the video files not only had to be done but uploaded to our web server, and if anyone knows anything about uploading large files to the web, it can be a time-consuming process.
Anyways, long story short, I think i got hustled....hehehe. Even having to do several takes on songs because of mistakes or missteps, he finished all 100, he actually only had about 75 up on the server and the other 25 were still uploading when the deadline hit, but more or less, he nailed it!
Even now, 3 weeks later, I still have not finished reviewing all of the videos, but of all of the ones that I have seen, they have ALL been right on point.
Anyways, with 100 videos just sitting around my office, I decided to start a YouTube channel just to show him off a bit.
There are currently about 6 or 7 videos up. I am adding more as we speak, and they will continue to be added in the days to come until I get them all up. So, be sure to SUBSCRIBE so you can see when new ones are put up, put up COMMENTS and LIKE it and all that other junk.
