Money is not the concern, I would be just as content, and faithful if I were told we have no budget for the position...I just don't like b n hustled by the preacher... Ur the leader, and u preach faith, but u don't step out on faith urself...As the leader, or head, u must first lead my example to compel others to do the same... I just been through it enough that I can laugh at it now...

When they replace you thinking the grass is greener but then the person they thought was the second coming is not all they are cracked up to be. Then they blame you because the music ministry is trashed at the same time they depend on you to make things better.   A little bitter. LOL! But God will make me better.
Love a word that comes and goes.. But few ppl really know, what it means to really love somebody.

BEEJAXX.. Its funny that you said that, because I just came out of this. The pastor has been begging me to come back after I had been faithful for 3 years driving 120 miles and traveling around the country for little to nothing..

They ALWAYS come crawling and begging lol!! On the real, skill does not equal faithfulness.  Pastors do not realize this until the "Super Keys" they hired leaves them hanging for better paying gigs.  Sad but true.

They truly do use this to get you in the door.  The best thing to do is allow God to take the lead.  That way you don't wind up stuck in a place where you were never intended to be in the first place. LOL @ church hustlers  ;D

Yeah, that's why you gotta be about your business from the start, and you gotta have a hustler's mentality, so that you can recognize any game that they try to run on you. YOu would think that churches would have more integrity when it comes to money, but a lot of them don't.

Wow.. Im goin thru that now. And i heard line too many times myself "as the church grow, so will your pay" . But what about them visitors who said they loved the music for todays service? They no where to be found or ever wanna come back... So i wonder why we're not growing. So ya i left and went bac to my very first church i played at. During my visit there i wood go see if they got anybody. But now they do so now gotta work myself back into music dept. And get on payroll. Sad as it sounds, i really do depend on my church pay to make it week to week...
