"Think" by John Piper (The Life of the mind and the love of God) <--- great book to study. It's DEEP.

Our Pastor quotes him like every week.... seriously

I could "try" to pick a novel. Who is Dave Ramsay and what book is it?

Ok, this is a Carl Weber book that just came out this year.

If you've read First Lady, you'll pretty much already know all the characters.

Aight I'm in. Start the thread, please... Since it's a novel, I wouldn't suggest doing different discussion dates. It probably won't take longer than a week to read, so maybe just start the thread with the date of discussion. Give ppl enough time to get the book if they want to read it and then give us a date to discuss it.

I read First Lady a long time ago...I may need to read a description to remember. I'm about to order Choir Director now. I'll read from my Kindle App.
This is exciting!

Do we have a start date? Or do we just start reading and be there for the discussion?

I was hoping Brittany would follow through. :-\

I guess I'll have to do it. I'll post something by Monday. I'm thinking like 2 weeks? That'll give us enough time to get and read it.

Depends if I can get it cheap, or borrow from a library. There were several other Carl Weber titles on the shelf where I found a copy of FIRST LADY.

Wanted to read THE HELP, but there is a long waiting list for that one.

Cool with me. We're going to need some Bible after that novel.  :D
