Absolutely. And, they need to be separate from the choir rehearsal.

Nah... At my church they don't have separate rehearsals. We only have a drummer and keyboard player. I'm thinking about starting a search for a bass player. But anyways, the more we (the praise team) have practice, the more I see a need for them to have their own separate rehearsal.

Most definitely. Musician rehearsal is essential for buidling a better music department. This is the place to make ur mistakes and experiment with different things. Also, the musicians need to learn each other's style and develop a way to gel together.

You would think that, but not always the case.

We don't have musician rehearsals but it us getting ready to go through a music ministry transition (drummer resigned and we have new drummer(s)) and we might need to consider musician rehearsals.
