I just wanted to say thank you to a few of you.

Every time I make the 3+ hour trip from Selma to Atlanta on a Sunday night, I struggle to stay awake on the long, dark (very boring) drive. Yesterday, I had an especially crowded weekend, having to be in 3 different states between Saturday and Sunday, with 3 services on Sunday (two in Atlanta and one in Selma). By the time I left the second service in Atlanta, I was already sleepy and had been dozing off in church. I knew it was going to be a long drive to Selma, and I didn't know how I'd be able to make it back.

I posted on FB asking if any LGMers wanted to do a conference call to help me stay awake. (That turned out to be a double blessing because this guy who is an acquaintance of a bunch of people from my church saw my status and said he wanted to go but didn't feel like driving by himself; I told him he could ride with me and not only did I have company for the trip, but he was immensely blessed in the service).

It's no big deal for LGMers to come together on the phone in fellowship. But what makes this particular call special is that you guys stayed on the phone with me for over 4 hours, from the time I left Selma, to my extended stop in Montgomery at the McDonalds... lol, to dropping dude off in Egypt, all the way to my bed. And I'm really, truly grateful. You don't do stuff like that for people you don't care about, and it's good to know that someone cares.  I have family and close acquaintances who know I take that trip and never even call or text to check on me, so it's good to know that a bunch of people - most of whom I've never even met in person - care enough to see me home.  So thanks Brittany, Will, Bishop TD Jakes (LOL), TJ, Nessa, Mondo, and especially BBG and Blessedwoman who stayed in for the long haul.

Words can't express how much I appreciate you.

Anytime sis  .  I was laughin though, cause I was listening as we all conversed, and your voice got so relaxed LOL.  I was like, we talked her all the way to rest  .  *still laughin at the 'permissive will' check*

I know, right!! You were like, "how you doin, sis? You almost home?" And I said, "dude I'm in the bed!"

And yeah, that permissive will thing... you should've seen it in person. That dude just knew he was breaking something down (really wasn't even answering the doggone question... lol).  As soon as he said "permissive will" Chris literally walked away from the counter and went to a table.      But I couldn't let that one slide.  There are souls at stake.

That guy said he knows my pastor, so I told pastor about what dude said and he was like "UGH. I need to go on TV to silence that lying demon!!!!"

So, since you all can stay up w/ LaRue for her 4 hour drive, who is gonna stay up w/ me for my 72 hour drive from Alaska to Mississippi and back??  Don't everyone volunteer at once

That. was. hilarious.  How you gonna be on the phone with somebody for 4 hours and wait until you're about to hang up to say, "so I never did get who [John Doe] is... who are you? Like, what is your name on LGM?" 

Seriously though, that conversation toward the end really blessed me. I've been thinking about all the testimonies all day yesterday and today.  I told BBG yesterday that the devil tried me... LOL. I haven't been around weed in I don't know how long and all of a sudden yesterday, I'm walking my dog and went through a cloud of weed smoke.  I told him I think I got a contact high! 

So, since you all can stay up w/ LaRue for her 4 hour drive, who is gonna stay up w/ me for my 72 hour drive from Alaska to Mississippi and back??  Don't everyone volunteer at once

You gotta give somebody your phone number so we can get the word to you... they're rarely planned in advance so a quick text message is usually how the word gets out.

Bishop T.D Jakes lol. That's my friend Irvon, just a straight nut. I think I may tell him to join LGM. He may not want to after Rue chewed him up and spit him out lol. I call him Bishop. I been calling him that ever since I met him.
