You know what, it's annoying when he throws hip hop and R&B under the bus and says jack squat about any other genre.  I know he means music in general but my gosh can we throw Rock, Bluegrass, Country, any type of music that isn't geared towards promoting Christ out there too?  Why just use Hip Hop and R&B as an example?  When his audience is made up of people who listen to mostly R&B and Hip Hop then I can see that he's trying to relate.  When his audience is made up of people who don't listen to mostly R&B and Hip Hop... :-\  Or maybe on his next album he'll do more of some other genre then use Rock as an example.  ::)

Other than that...dude has preaching skills.

I think the most popular genre of todays youth is hip hop and R&B. That is why i think he was speaking more about that side of music.

fretai03: "High horse meet brutha28..."
High horse: "No, I already know him."
fretai03: "Oh! I didn't realise. My bad."
High horse: "Yeah, last time we spoke I said to get off me but he wouldn't... Had to buck him off... Looks like he found me again."

Black youth maybe, but definitely not all youth.  Pop?Rock music is the most popular genre ever, and dat's across all races.  I think he's just hitting an "easy" target that's getting a lot of attention.
