Current Status Thread!

Tizzy Teej almost had a heart attack this morning! I had an exam at 8:00. Got up, took it, came back home and went back to sleep. Woke up again, looked at the clock and saw it was 11:45. I immediately started panicking saying "oh my God...oh my God..." thinking I'd overslept for my exam. Heart is about to completely rip open my chest. It literally took me 2 minutes to realize I'd already taken it.

SMH....2 more months and I'm done with this.

LOL I've done that in relation to different circumstances.  I believe it was work or something.  I feel you.

For those that don't visit the general musician forum:

What is this progression doing? I'm in the key of C. The progression goes as follows:

4 - F / Eb major
b3 - Eb / Bb major
2 - D / F major
5 - G / F major
1 - C / C major

I'm really focused on those first three chords. It sounds like it's changing keys before resolving to a traditional 2-5-1. Almost like it's switching from F to Eb to C. Can anyone explain?

I'm thinking it's a 4-1 walk-down using different chords (outside of the key of C) for the 4 and the b3.

CS: Reading the 1st 4 chapters of Numbers (journey of reading the bible from front to back this year) and wondering when's the last time a sermon was preached from Leviticus or Numbers.

CS: Thankful for everything God is doing right now. I feel like I'm growing and finally becoming what God created me to be.

Looks like it started in C MINOR.  The first two chords look like standard Eb Major (C Minor) chords with the 3rd chord being a transition chord.  That D/F Major can work in both Eb Major (C Minor) and C Major so it eases the ear into the next key.

I saw the original post. Haven't gotten around to playing it yet, but to me it looks like a modulation from Bb to C.
