CS: watching my timeline do a complete 180. Last week, it was all doom and gloom over the Republican convention. Now the stars are all perfectly aligned because of this Democratic convention. Oh, groupthink politics.  ::)

So what do you do with the professor who only gives As to those students who go "above and beyond"?? Is that even fair??? If you tell me THIS is required, and I fulfill THIS with excellence and submit everything on time, why wouldn't I get an A????

Ugh! She said the school said she grades too high so she no longer gives As unless you go above and beyond. I'm so ticked off.

CS: Finally in the house after a busy 2nd of the day which included the first day of afterschool and the kids were hype...LOL! Some of them acted like they hadn't seen me in years...haha!

c.s. wrapping up my first day of vacation of this week... so far finished demoing the electrical from the master bedroom, and installed all new electrical wiring for the master bathroom :D super excited been wanting to do this for about 2 months but kept putting it off cause 1. I procrastinate and 2. no time. about to rest because tomorrow I will put in the electrical for the rest of the bedroom ( plugs and lights nothing special). I keep debating If I should run Ethernet cables (i don't like wifi ... even though I'm using it right now) and place a port on each side of my bed ... but my wife doesn't like it when I type long posts at night on LGM. That should only take a few hours I think I will record some of it for a silly video for my blog LOL.

I don't think I can take 4 more years of these people talking about politics. Did black people care this much about politics before Obama came on the scene? Or is it just because of facebook, that it seems like we talk about it more?

To be honest, I think many black people (not all and maybe not even a majority) are interested in politics for the first time because of Obama.

CS: Wondering how many of you all are watching the DNC.

CS: Thinking about starting a thread on an american government issue that I don't think has been discussed on here. May do search to see.

I think we are just coming of age gentleman. Sort of like how some never read/watch the news as a kid but now you pay attention to it because you know how important it is.
