Had an awesome weekend! Got to see some new family as well as my brother who I hadnt seen in yrs. Every thing was awesome UNTIL...
Yesterday his family and my mother came down to come to church with me. Well when they arrive, I help them get the kids checked in. At our church the children are in a diff building and first timers have to fill out some paper work and get pictures and prints taken (we got TIGHT kids security). Well Im showing them to the classrooms and everything when I look and see I only have 5 min to get on the platform before the cameras start rolling. So Im dipping and dogging between ppl, waving at some, missing others. Well I speak to one last person and I see out the corner of my eye the usher holding the door. Unfortunately the OTHER side was the opening, but the glass was SO clean it looked like my side. BOOM! I ran SMACK into the glass window.
I mean no brace for it, no slow down, the window interrupted my RUNNING forward motion. It was SO loud. Everybody swung around surprised. I was like, "Im good" and kept it moving. I got a min to run in the bathroom to see. I knew there was some damage cause I could taste blood. My lips were GIGANTIC! I went ahead and got strapped up, mouth straight numb and bleeding. Of course this Sunday the camera man was all in my face during P&W. Nobody noticed on the screen though. They are just now coming down
