CS: Church has been awesome. I'm back on the PT...I've been singing none stop every service (since Wed.). I believe "Tis So Sweet" has become MY song. Last night I sung something else, but tonight (which I had no idea I was doing a solo), I did "Tis So Sweet" and I ended it with the song that goes....."Jesus, Jesus, Jeeeessuus there's something about that name" (like always) and like.....OMG!
I can't even count how many times I sing this song when I do solo's. I change up and sing something different every once in a while. You'd think people would get tired of that song but it kills every time......EVERY time.
It just amazes me that He chooses to use ME.
Tonight, my Pastor told me I've been showing out because last night I introduced the speaker (and from my solo tonight). My friend was suppose to do it but she was so terrified that I told her I would do it for her (I'm not sure why I VOLUNTEERED to do that, cause yal KNOW I don't do nobody's talking in a formal setting). Not ONLY did I do it, but I stood behind the podium and was pretty comfortable at that. o_O Normally, I'd be trembling or something but nothing. I was fine. Not sure what that was about. But I told my Pastor to not get any ideas because I know her.
Anyways, I've actually been enjoying the services. Far beyond my expectations.
But mann I can't wait until it's over. Getting off work at 6 and trying to be ready for church by 7 AND try to eat in between is a beast! I'm TIRED!
