I declare, I have been getting testimonies ALLLLLLLL day today!!! Just thought I'd share this one from a FB friend. It's so encouraging to see God doing HUGE things like that! And she's such an awesome young lady. In her 20s, newly saved, and getting married in a few months. If you can't get past the lack of paragraphs or whatever, I understand. It's okay.
Praise Report!!!! - Hey yall....yea I know I've been MIA for a minute, but I had to pop in to share this AWESOME news! So, my Nana will be 92 in October. My cousin and her husband and my mom (my nana's only living child) take care of all her financial obligations. Nana has been living in an Assisted Living Facility for the past 18 months or so (she wants to go back home, but her health she has to have someone with her 24/7....so its better if she is at a facility). Well, I was talking to my mom and was telling her how I would want to go stay over at the house for school purposes for my son. This house was built in 1957. The house my mom grew up in, I grew up in and my grandparents were the original owners. Original cost of the house $28K. So....anywho, my mom was saying well I should have a utility bill transferred in my name so if I wanted to move schools it would be easy to do yada yada. Then she was saying how other people have interest in the house (my cousins) but while Nana is still living she can do what she wants with it. Now, background, my cousin has been trying to convince her to sell the house. I think its DUMB. Where are you going to find a fully paid off, 4 sided brick home in the city limits of Atlanta, with a Finished basement that is almost 4000 square feet? Not to mention, it has 5 bedrooms (4 upstairs and 1 downstairs) and 3 full bathrooms, the original hardwood floors (that is covered by carpet right now) and 2 kitchens (1 up and 1 downstairs). The downstairs is like its own Condo. SO.....i just talked to my mom and SHE SAID that NANA told her if I really WANT it, she will DEED it over to me! OMG I am so elated right now I can SCREAM!!!! I would run my floor....but security might come get me! I have ALWAYS wanted an older home and now not only will I be a home owner of my house in the burbs, I will have a family home that has enough space for me and my crew (more than enough), FI can have his man cave in the basement that still has my grandaddy's big screen, AND get this......the house has my Great Grandmothers Antique Dining Room Furniture and Player Baby Grand Piano! God is Great and greatly to be praised! Malachi 3:10. I promise everytime I keep on giving and pressing through there is always something in His bosom.
