Crazy week. Well what happened with my mother is that she hadnt really been eating the last few days, and on top of that, her glucose medication was too strong. This is what caused everything to drop. Shes fine now and home. They took her off the meds for a while until they can fix her dosage. Thanks for the prayers and concerns.
My church is off the chain. Service was AMAZING today. I may start playing in the ministry this week. That brings me to this:
Since I began my true walk with God, it seems my position has always been a "Ram in the bush". I didnt understand the fullness of that for a while, but once I began to travel with the military and live different places it became clear. Ive never had to "vie" for a position. I accredit that with following God and putting him FIRST before music, before pay, before anything else. Anyway, so I came to this church, and I knew this was where I was supposed to be. And even though tried to start somewhere else for a while, I ended up departing out of obedience. This church has a THOROUGH process. You have to be a member and have gone to new members class to be in any ministry (which I did). I then had to fill out an application and set up an audition with the MD. I then had a one on one interview with the worship leader and filled out some more paper work, which included 3 references. They hit my references the NEXT day! lol. I was actually truly impressed by that. Now this is the thing. There are two bass players there already. Well in last service, in chatting with them, one is about to take a contracting job in Afghanistan for a few yrs. Then the other states that hes transferring to a new job and wont be available to play. I couldnt even be surprised. I was just like, Lord, you know I know wassup LOL. This has always happened to me no matter where I go. TGBTG
If you just have faith in what YOU'VE been called to do, you will never worry about having a place. Be obedient. God knows what Hes doing.
