This is really cool, thanks man.

2 questions

1) If the check box beside each voice is checked, does that mean the voice is activated? How do i shut off that voice? I tried unchecking the check box but the voice still sounds.

2) So there is no way to control each individual voice volume in real time like on the Motif? That sucks.
you do all your volume controls for live mixing in the mixer mode and yes it works just like motif.

IRT to checked box, that means the sound is activated, however which ever sound your highlight is on while in layer mode will sound regardless if the box is checked or not. So uncheck the box and highlight something else.

This board does a lot more than you think. For instance you want to lay some tracks you can plug a mic in to record vocals, plug a bass or guitar in and record that live and if you have sample of any thing ie: hook from another song, beat or anything no matter what the bpm is it will sync it to your current bpm. So think about.

Truly amazing. I should be getting paid for plugging this board. LOL.

I forgot to mention this board is expandable, can save internally or can save to a standard compact/flash card.

The mo8 or xs is not expandable.

dont know about the MO, but the XS is definately expandable. You can add three if not four more cards plus you can hook up  a usb jump drive

I stand corrected, I was reading a review and it may have been the MO.

Thanks, this board is soooooo simple to use, I'm sequencing already.LOL With the Motif never even got close. I still love the Motif, but for music production this is the board.
