hehehe--musicians with "tricks" under their sleeves.. 8)

I think when I do the next newsletter, I am going to put that in there. very simple and nice. Keep yo cha -uren (int) off the instroments(int) bc yall ain't got no money to replace in-ty(int) of it, so get yo habits (children) after church...

something like that, lol

Absolutely not. I forgot who said it but yes some people think the instruments are open to the public and after the service they can just do whatever. I've seen drum heads busted and keys busted and all that mess. I don't play that. The minute that service ends, I put my baby back in the bag and put the church's board (which isn't worth nothing) back on the stand.

i just use the church's keyboard , i ain't bringing mine.  we lend our church to 2 other churches so i dont know how they be getting down :P

okay my church ahs two keyboards (the same kind {korg triton le } [i hate it]), but any way we made a rule that kids can not touch the keyboard whats so ever and when i first started playing i broke off one of the keys but it still work lol (dont ask how it was so stupid)... but i really want a yamaha motif...

Yeah we also lend our church to another church. They used to bring their own equipment, then they stopped once they saw we had a Fantom X6 and the MO8. They are a Spanish church and they play really uptempo latin music...i am worried for the boards.

Cool..I'd go to some services to accustom my ear to the music 8)

Uptempo muisc doesn't necessarily mean bashing on the keys.but yeah, most uptempo music makes players want to imitate the rhythm with their hands :D but 1 can train themselves not to bash unreasonably on the board..One of our boards has been bashed for over 10 years..it's still going after a few servicings..
But better to not just lend out boards--some people are just careless..

but i am serious, man i get tired of those kids always runnin up bang on stuff their parents didn't even buy... most of our instuments are personally owned...

If you got a motif (which is a popular board if you didnt know) and your slider is missing; the only place to get another slider immediately is, another motif. Problem solved.

But it takes a lot to pull off those sliders. They don't come loose easily. The person must have had time alone when the church was empty.  :-\
