I went for Chris Coleman for this one. I love T Royster, but he is just all speed to me.  :-\

Christopher R. Coleman, hands down.  Both are technical giants, however, Christ brings a significantly high level of cleanliness in his playing.  Additionally, his solo composition skills are phenomenal, along with his understanding and mastery of note theory.

I've seen them go at it after Chris won the Regional Guitar Center Drum-Off in Cleveland. It was way too close to call for battle's sake. Great show nonetheless. Dynamics, speed, cleanliness, it was all there from both parties!

I like Chris because he does what he does on a lot less than Tony does.  Chris has a signature voice.  His combination of power, finess, and composition in a drum solo is unmatched by anyone.  For a long time Tony sounded a lot like his idols.  He is turning the corner now and really coming into his own now.  I don't take anything away from what Tony does at all, but i'll put my green on Mr. Coleman.

Chris*

Chris is good but not that good! LOL!!

I have to go with Chris too. He's a lot more versitile than Tony and more tasteful in my opinion.

Ay, please note the reason as to why I quoted myself, lol!  I accidentally typed Christ, instead of Chris.

Yeah! when I hit the quote button I thought it would quote your whole post and not just the correction you made to your first quote. Chris is good not God LOL!!

Dont get me wrong, I love Chris but I have to go with my man Tony. I and he can do just as much with less. He used to play at my uncles church in jersey on an old yamaha kit with single pedal and used to kill it still. And he can be classy with it and not flashy. Just lookk at the live performance he did with Jay Z. very reserved and laid back, but still did his thing.
