Yamaha S08

Does anybody have anything to say about the Yamaha S08.  I thinking about purchasing this keyboard in the next couple of weeks and I wanted to know if this is a good keyboard. Positive and negative comments welcome because I don't want to waste my money. Thanks

My church has one. It's not bad, but it wouldn't be at the top of my list, neither. It has some decent sounds, but a lot of bland ones too. I guess it's a matter of what sounds best to you.

I wouldnt get it. But thats just me.

I'd go for a used Mo8. The Mo8 has better sounds, a sequencer, sliders for layering, weighs less.....

It cost 1600 new, but you can find em used on craigslist.org for $700-1300

Premise: I love Yamaha keyboards.

I have one and I would not recommend it.
Pianos are hollow and muddy, other sounds are just not usable.
I'd buy a used S80, S90, Mo8 for similar money. On any of these boards, the sounds are usable right out of the box.

I like the S08 it has descent organs sounds and the keys are nice and weighted and it sends out alot bass.
