Finally New Instructional Videos!!!!!!!

Hey LGM fam!!!!

It's been a while since I put a couple of videos up, but here you go!!!!!!  The clips explain the application of a Flam Paradiddle and Paradiddle-diddle with a touch of Vinnie for you cats!! ;)  I hope you enjoy.  I'm still waiting for part 1 or the Paradiddle-diddle clip to upload, as soon as that one is done, I'll post it up.  However, sorry about the quality of the clips.  The originals don't look like that, I guess it has something to do with youtube.  At any rate, enjoy!!!  Take care and God Bless.  Please leave me some feedback, I would love to hear what you cats have to say.

Ay, think about it like this - we wouldn't have the number of instructional videos available if everyone felt the same way.  Do you and put your interpretation on what you'd like to teach.

Hey Juse!!!!!!!!  Man, that's not the purpose of me putting out vids man.  Do what's in your heart bro for real!!!!  Make it happen.  You have a desire to do it, then just do it man for real.    I'm with you 100% of the way bro.  There's soooooo much information to that we ALL still need to find out about and there's sooo many variations on top of that LOL!!! this is why I love LGM!!! this has blessed me in many ways..

yesterday was checking out your other videos and purposed to get my left foot in gear so that when
the percussionist dont show up for the gig i can play there parts. ;D. so often i rely on them so much that i just play clean and let them talk, but these videos inspire me to get better.

That Flamadiddle lick of yours sparks a Flam 5 in quintuplet form... the 5th or added left also causes a Reverse Inverted Flam Tap placed on the following Flamadiddle.

You are really shedding some light (no pun of Steve Holmes DVD title) on the power of the ABCs (Rudiments) of drumming.

BRAVO!!!!!

First of all YOU KNOW I'm humbled by this statement right here!!!!!!!!  Especially coming from Calvin, so praise God for that and I'm glad I've opened up some stuff for you, that's the whole point of this.  Spreading knowledging and now it's time to expand on that knowledge and make it your own!!!

Sabe!!!!!!!  You're absolutely right!!!!!  I never thought of it like that, but that's what it is.  Wow man, you need to write a book or something because you are such an intelligent man for real.  The main thing that we all need to understand is that when approaching these new concepts/rudiments we need to be patient with our practicing.  In addition to that we need to understand HOW to practice.  What we need to ask is, what are the motions involved here.  Is it a Full stroke, is it a tap, is it an up-stroke, is it a down stroke, how is my body moving during these exercises, rudiments, etc.  Is it flowing what do I need to do to prepare for the next stroke.  These are just the technical sides of it.  When you become comfortable with this, then it becomes, how much touch do I need to make it sound legato, stacatto, marcatto.  What colors am I seeing as an artist when I play these rhythms, phrases, etc.  That's the level that I want to be at consistently.  Let's not look at these "rudiments" as an exercise or something cool to play. Let's use them wisely and more importantly musically.  Take care and God Bless.  Again I am humbled by ALL of your comments!!!
