Gas prices
« on: March 22, 2008, 01:21:19 PM »
saw an e-mail that had the oil companies who import foreign oil;shell, chevron, texaco versus those who don't bp,etc. Here's my question;if crude is going for $110 on the world market, where is the law that says these companies HAVE to sell NON-import oil for the same price? I understand the going rate is the going rate, but if I'm in business,NOT subject to "foreign" powers or COST;why wouldn't I INCREASE my production(which LOWERS per unit price) ;pass these savings on and sell gas for $2 gallon and blow everybody who is "dependent" on imports out of business? Where are all the consumer watchdogs, elected "representatives",business school elite who can't figure this out? that's why we need to look @ JESUS-HE's the only one covering our back.Does anybody see these gas prices as forerunners of the trib plagues.
