I've never been impressed with the Triton. The extreme probably has some improved sounds over the original but I'd go with the Motif esp. if it's the XS version. Also, don't sleep on the Roland Fantom either. If I was looking to get a Korg, I'd look at the M3 unless you are more in the market for something used.
i haven't played the m3 yet.u r right don't sleep on the fantom.
I make a lot of music ,and I use strings, horns, bass, guitar, drums, pads, piano (of course) ,and some synth .it's very important for me to have a cool realistic piano sound
i would go with the fantom over the two other boards the fantom is only lacking in the organ section other than that the fantom is a beast
I was thinking Fantom too. I thought the Fantom organ can be tweaked. Plus you can control the drawbars on the Fantom.
Fo Real? how? I tried it at guitar center, and there were no good organ sounds for church use
I couldn't imagine trying to use regular keyboard organ sounds in church unless it was just for accents.
I've used the Motif's organ sounds for hymns and for playing behind a soloist, but thats about it. But I've fooled someone with the motif organ, I gave a recording to my teacher of me playing a solo on the motif, and he asked me why I wasnt playing pedals. I told him, cuz its not a real organ! And this dudes been playing for 40 years.
