I don't play for my church or any church yet, but I am trying my best not to be found wanting when the time comes & I'm called into duty.
It is sad to see players being clueless as soon as they see some1 playing in a key they are unfamiliar with.
It is so nice 2 know all the keys, & practicing in them, because you get to even know which songs sound best in which keys.
I only play at home, & I can already hear that some keys just sound better than others for specific stuff.
I doubt U ever care to even take note which care that would be if you are a "truly transpose person".
All bro's & sisters still transposing, I urge you to make an effort to not rely soley on it-- use it only as a last resort tool- it's understandable.
I recommend using the number system when learning all the keys..it makes learning ridiculously easy & U'll be hitting your head on the wall for ever thinking that U could never break the glass ceiling
